Luis Batista

Luis' professional experience spans more than two decades within prestigious companies, where he has held various positions in economics, finance, marketing, program and general management across the United States, Ireland, Japan, Sweden and Italy. Luis participates in several international organizations and think tanks, which focus on economic, finance, sociocultural, innovation and technology. Luis also authors articles for academic journals and other media. He graduated with a BS and PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Management. He also holds a BA in Political Science from Waseda University and a Master Finansiell ekonomi from the Handelshögskolan in Stockholm.
