Former CFO of AgustaWestland, Sergio Biganzoli, assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer at Manta Aircraft with immediate effect, becoming part of the company's management team.

Sesto Calende, Italy – August 8, 2022 – With Sergio Biganzoli, former CFO AgustaWestland, the next aerospace heavyweight joins hybrid-electric long range eV/STOL OEM Manta Aircraft, specialized in regional aviation in the field of Advanced Air Mobility. After almost 8 years in this responsible leadership position of one of the most important helicopter companies in the world and further experience in financial management consulting - also in the aerospace industry - Sergio as Chief Financial Officer takes the lead in internal and external development, oversees structuring actions and manages financial communications for all corporate events.

In doing so, he follows top aerospace managers Guiseppe Orsi, former CEO and Chairman of Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), Fabio Nanonni, former Senior Vice President of engineering and Senior Vice President for Safety System Governance at Leonardo Helicopters, and Stephen C. Moss, former CEO of Agusta-Westland North America, who serve in an advisory role to Manta Aircraft's board and management.

Manta Aircraft is developing a range of performance-oriented hybrid-electric vertical and short take-off and landing air vehicles (heV/STOL) for regional air mobility and plans to begin certification of the first two-seat, multi-purpose model ANN2 in 2023.
